How I Became A Student Baker
From a small age, I always been addicted to sweet food, cakes and desserts. I'd always watch my mum make cakes and puddings for special occasions and to this day she still does. Nowadays, I don't get to eat her sweet treats as often as I used to due to being at university and I would usually just buy already made baked treats.

After a couple of years of doing this, I realised that this was not affordable and wanted to start making my own cakes and bakes. However, baking has become a lucrative and expensive industry thanks to the success of The Great British Bakeoff. What I want to show is that, as a financially-unstable student herself, you can bake with cheaper and more affordable products.

The speciality of these recipes will be that all the products used will be supermarket own brands. I will also be reviewing these products as well as the supermarket's own bakery goods, more expensive cafe goods and how you can make cafe fod and drink at home.
