All I Want For Christmas Is Starbucks

Even though some people may think it's an international corporation that is ripping off local coffee shops and not paying its taxes, I am an avid fan of Starbucks coffee and cake. Whether it's their iced mocha frappucino in the summer or their cafe mocha in the colder months, their coffee is delicious and something I drink all year round.

When Christmas rolls around each year, I get excited for what Starbucks will bring out for their festive range of drinks and snacks and, as usual, they have not disappointed. The company have brought out five drinks - Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, a Fudge Hot Chocolate and a White Christmas Hot Chocolate - with frappucino and iced versions for those that can hold up cold drinks in the cold weather and a selection of baked goods.

The baked goods in the range are a Chocolate Snowball Muffin, a Cranberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake Muffin, Snowy Mountain S'mores Brownies, Chocolate Pudding Cookies, Chocolate and Cherry Mallow Top biscuits, Chocolate and Pecan cookies, Raspberry Red Velvet cake, Christmas Carrot cake, Ginger Loaf cake, Raspberry Coconut Loaf cake and Mince Pies.

For myself, I went for a medium sized Toffee Nut Latte and also decided to try the Chocolate Snowball muffin. The latte came in one of Starbuck's really cute 2016 christmas cups which shows sketched baubles but there are different ones available depending on what cup they put your hot drink in.

The coffee is a latte, which is made up of the company's warm and sumptuous Christmas expresso blend and steamed milk, but with a rich buttery toffee flavouring sauce and toasted nut flavouring sauce. This gives the drink an incredibly sweet yet fragrant smell and taste.

The muffin is dark chocolate with a white chocolate cream inside that doesn't goo out like their triple chocolate muffin does but is still sticky and can get all over your fingers! It is top with coconut shavings which I was not totally a fan of but liked it as a whole cake.

I have yet to try the cafe's other Christmas drinks and bakes yet, but am looking forward to having a Gingerbread Latte, which I have had before but from another cafe, and the Chocolate Pudding Cookies which sound divine.

What are your favourite Christmas drinks and cakes from Starbucks? If you prefer another cafe company, what are your favourite Christmas drinks and snacks from there?
